A. Age Restriction

Parental or guardian consent is required for customers under the age of 18. The name and contact information of the person giving consent must be provided at the checkout.


B. Payment Methods                                              
andersen-andersen.com accepts Dankort, VISA/Dankort, VISA Electron, MasterCard, PayPal and Maestro. If payment is by debit or credit card, the customer must enter all the necessary information on the card and, in the case of a transaction with 3D Secure, the security code. All information is sent securely to andersen-andersen.com using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) through an encrypted connection. This prevents any unknown and unauthorized sources from accessing customer information. andersen-andersen.com does not store customer credit card information after completing the transaction. Prices are shown without shipping or other services that andersen-andersen.com may offer.
 
*Please note that local import charges (customs duty, sales tax) may occur depending on your region and country. These charges are at your own expense.
If you pay through PayPal, you are not protected by the scheme granting the right to object. Read more about the conditions on the PayPal website. 
No fees are charged for the use of credit cards. The amount will not be drawn from your card account until the goods are dispatched. 



Reservation
If you pay with an international card, the amount is reserved immediately. The amount is reserved on your card or account until:
1) We deduct the amount when we send the item, or
2) the money is released according to the agreement with your card issuer.

C. Local Levies/Taxes & Duties
Depending on your region and local customs legislation, charges (customs duty, sales tax, etc.) can occur. These charges are at your own expense.




D. Returns

You have the right to cancel your purchase by giving unambiguous notice within 30 (thirty) days from the date you receive your goods.
Please be cautious when trying on garments and avoid contact with fragrances, including perfumes, essential oils, deodorants, etc. 

The period means you have 30 days after receiving the goods to inform us that you want to cancel the purchase. You can send an e-mail to webshop@andersen-andersen.com or make use of the standard cancellation form, which you will find at the end of the terms of business.

You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the goods unless you inform us before.




Requirements for your return

Customers outside the EU:
Please get in touch with webshop@andersen-andersen.com before making a return. We will guide you appropriately to avoid additional charges. 

You have 14 days to return the goods after informing us that you are cancelling your purchase.
Shipping labels are not provided. Any return costs incurred are your responsibility, and you will be liable if it is damaged during transport.

We suggest using a shipping method with tracking services to avoid lost items. The responsibility of the package is yours until it has been safely delivered to Andersen-Andersen.  
If you wish to exchange a garment for another size, colour or style, this can be done by placing a new order and returning the unwanted item.
 
Exchanges in Andersen-Andersen Flagship Store

In our Flagship store, you can exchange items bought on andersen-andersen.com. You may exchange for a different item, select a gift certificate, or receive a refund. If you wish to return an item bought online in our Flagship store, the original payment card used for the purchase will be credited within 14 days. Please have your receipt or order number available. If the item is a gift, you must ask the person who gave it for the receipt.
Please note that you must retain the receipt of the returned item until it is received and refunded by andersen-andersen.com.
 
E. The state of the article when you return it


If the article's value is reduced, and the reason is that you have used it in any way beyond what was necessary to check the type and properties of the article and how it works, then only part of the purchase sum can be refunded to you. The amount that can be refunded depends on the article's saleable value; in some instances, this may mean that only the freight charges can be refunded.
We recommend that you return the article in its original packaging. If the original packaging is missing, it may reduce the article's value.
 
F. Refund of the purchase sum
If you cancel a purchase, you will get your money back. If the article's value is reduced, we will deduct the amount you are liable for.
We will refund all payments received from you, including the original delivery cost if you have paid for it. However, this does not apply to extra delivery costs if you have chosen a form other than the cheapest standard form of delivery we offer.
You will receive your refund within 14 days from the day when we receive your notification that you want to cancel the agreement.
We will return the money by the same means of payment which you used for the purchase unless otherwise agreed.
We may hold the refund until we have received the article unless you send documentation that you have returned it.




G. Warranty & Repairs
When you trade with us as a consumer, the Danish Sale of Goods Act applies. This means that you have a right to complain within 24 months. Before returning an article, please get in touch with us.
If your complaint is justified, you may either have the item repaired or replaced, your money refunded, or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation.
All products from andersen-andersen.com also come with a 2-year manufacturing warranty. This warranty includes faults in the fabric, knitting craft, and other manufacturing-related errors. The warranty does not apply to defects caused by normal wear and tear. For warranty claims or repair requests, please get in touch with customer service at info@andersen-andersen.com

In determining a claimable defect in the item, the customer must notify Andersen-Andersen within a reasonable period from the date the defect was discovered. Anything within two months of the purchase date is within a reasonable time. If the claim is justified, the customer will be refunded a fair amount for shipping the item. Remember to obtain a dispatch receipt so we can pay back your freight costs.

To initiate a repair for an item outside the manufacturing warranty, please get in touch with info@andersen-andersen.com, and customer service will provide you with options from our in-house repair service. 


Please note that all items for repair should be washed and cleansed of stains and odour. Andersen-Andersen cannot accept repairs caused by pests of any sort. We reserve the right to reject claims that do not meet the above requirements. 
Payment is accepted via andersen-andersen.com with a repair order. 
 
H. Shipping
andersen-andersen.com sends packages with multiple couriers depending on delivery location. The couriers we use are GLS, UPS and DHL. Delivery time for regular service in Europe is 1-4 business days, and standard service outside Europe is 2-6 business days.
Shipping costs vary depending on the country. Prices are calculated on andersen-andersen.com after the delivery address is entered, added to the order at checkout and will be between 35-540 Danish Kroner (DKK).
 
I. Privacy
We require the following information when you trade with us:
Name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.
 
We register and pass on the personal details necessary to deliver the goods to you. 
Personal data is registered with Andersen-Andersen ApS and is kept for five years, after which the details are deleted. 
In addition, we work with several other companies that store and process data. These companies process the data exclusively on our behalf and must not use them for their own purpose.
We work only with data processors in the EU or countries where your data will be given adequate protection.  


On andersen-andersen.com, the person responsible for data is Andersen-Andersen ApS. 
You are entitled to be informed about what details of yours we process.
If you believe the details are inaccurate, you are entitled to have them corrected. In certain situations, we are obliged to delete your data if you ask us to do so. These could, for instance, be data which are no longer necessary for the purpose we used them for. You can contact us if you believe your data is being processed in a way that is against the law. J. Where you can complain
If you, as a consumer, want to complain about your purchase, please get in touch with us at webshop@andersen-andersen.com. If we do not succeed in finding a solution, you can send a complaint to Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, DK-8800 Viborg.
To complain about goods or services, the goods or services must have a value between 1.110 DKK and 100.000 DKK. If the goods you want to complain about are clothes or shoes, the value must be at least 720 DKK. Please note that a fee will be charged.
If you are a resident of a country outside Denmark, you can complain to the EU Commission’s online complaints portal here – http://ec.europa.eu/odr
