Worn Sweater #1
Having the same sweaters forever ... what is that all about?
We are starting a new series highlighting some of the people who have owned and loved our sweaters for many years. First up is Freja Julie Rasch Eskildsen, a recent Master’s graduate in violin from the Royal Danish Academy of Music, while Christian Kold is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Physics at the Niels Bohr Institute.
The two met four years ago while playing their respective instruments - violin and clarinet - during a recording session on Møn. The project itself was not particularly successful, but through it they discovered a shared appreciation for quality, both in life and in the things that surround them.
Their studies and work demand calmness and discipline, and one of the ways they cultivate that is by surrounding themselves with beautiful things in their home. They also found both practicality and aesthetic appeal in Andersen-Andersen knitwear, of which they now own quite a collection.
Christian: “For me, it’s really about something that can be used all the time — something you never hesitate to wear, no matter the situation.”
Freja: I’d rather spend extra money on better quality because it lasts longer - not just this year, but next year and the year after that too.”
